Cars are important too. I would love to see every museum have a well maintained vintage freight consist. I'll pay more to watch a good train than to ride it.

I couldn't agree more, Sid! Thanks - glad you're enjoying the series. Freight cars are every bit a part of railroading as are engines, depots, signals and the rest of what is featured on RP. I'd say this is especially true for images of vintage rolling stock such as the 1941 built Wabash steel box car seen above.
