Thank you for sharing these with us. Dad always spoke highly of Mr. Dziobko and I can see why.

Taken 8 days after my birth. I just wish I could've seen the transition from steam to diesel.

Reading F's, an ABA set no less - when they use to run because that is what was run. Wild. A big thanks to you, Ray, and John for taking the time to share these amazing images!

John, even though you have fewer photos in the data base than I, you have more views. I think it is because I don't have a Z in my last name. I have really enjoyed your photos both here and on your site. We are fortunate that you were out there post WWII recording that period of railroad history for us. Thanks a million -- Oh I mean 5 million. Marty

Reading almost went with E7s, but opted for FP7s instead, a wise move as this shot illustrates. An E7 or E8 was of little value in freight service. Once again, I kiss your ring, Godfather.

Great shot of a beautiful train. Reading really took good care of their FP7,s and F7 boosters. They didn't remove the skirts from the fuel tanks like many roads did. The units look like they just arrived from EMD. Thank you for your incredible body of work, and best regards.
