The train is the ME-5, as for the crossing circuit, it's connected to the traffic lights on either side of the crossing. We have dwarf signals on either side of the crossing. They're unlit until we're on the circuit for 15 seconds. This gives the traffic time to get over the crossing from the traffic lights. After the 15 seconds, they light up yellow and it's Okay for us to shove across. As for the boxcar, it's going down to RPM which is just down across Woodbridge Avenue. It's loaded with Green (un-roasted) coffee beans. RPM also has another warehouse over in Bayonne that gets the same product. Oh I'm also running the engine here!

Thanks for the great info, Rich! I had no idea the train was even there...I was one of the last cars to cross before the lights activated and was able to pull over to get this shot.

I once saw a train cross here, but I got caught at the light in the distance. That train had two locos in front and two more on the rear, a mix of the RCRY and LTEX.

The RCRY...they're supposed to be out of Metuchen by 630a-700a and heading back to the Lower Yard in Raritan Center by then. However most mornings they're still up in our yard setting off their Westbounds and picking up their inbounds at 730am or later.
