Somebody must be a fan of the old N&W "hamburger" scheme, which would have looked great with the nose stripes & a (solid) sill stripe.

Looks like a hybrid Nickel Plate and N&W Pevler Blue paint scheme.

I've said it before, with the GP-30 profile, no matter how you paint it, you just can't make it look bad.
