I worked on a low budget movie in Holmesburg for two weeks in super hot July 1994. You can see the arched sally port, the one way in or out with a vehicle to the place. We filmed in the port and on top of the wall you see. Being there with the Victorian layout and high stone walls, (you expected James Cagney around the corner at any time) it was weird what with the cat-calls of the inmates, the banging of the gates and most of all, that smell.
