Orange hats are the new fashion for folks in their first year of employment.

Never heard of the orange hat for new hires. In Illinois the UP required us to wear a yellow UP baseball cap that says "New Hire" on the sides just above the ears and has the UP shield above the bill. I would guess the guy in the orange hat is "marked up" and simply wore an orange hat to work this day. Great pic Ken!
