A beautiful building for sure however the color of the trim just doesn't fit. A far cry from the Amtrak station in rundown Detroit.

I must say that it's great to see a "Grand" old station like this one still exists and is still being useful in it's "old" age. I also have to agree with Tom - that trim has to be changed, maybe something more "earth-tone" to match the brick? Still - an old station still in use and that's rare for the "smaller" station stops.

The passenger waiting area still has all the old varnished wood and benches, all in great shape. Plenty of signage that tells of it's Michigan Central / New Your Central Lines origins. It's very beautiful in the summer with the grounds planted with flowers and such.

You don't like the trim?! C'mon, slap some PC logos on the depot, replace that track with some jointed rail on rotting wooden ties, and it could be 1975 all over again! Give some love to that "Jade Green" that harks back to NYC/PC days. ;)
