Great photo, Mr. Berry. The colors are beautiful. I must admit that riding the Mt. Washington cog several years ago made me quite nervous! At that time, the railroad hired summer students who rode on the front of the car and jumped off to manually throw their complicated switches that were in use at that time. I believe the young man said that nine movements were required to throw the switch. He said that by the time he headed back to college in the fall, he was in top shape.
