I'm told that the B-unit is actually a stunt double, actually having Southern heritage. Can anyone confirm that?

The original demos went to The Southern afterwards.
Also, that sign needs a paint job.

According to the Oil Electric website the B unit is not from the original quartet, having been manufactured in 1944. The website also states that the lead unit has its diesel and main generator. Anyone know the condition of the cab?

Both of the engine's went to the Southern after being EMD demonstrators. As far as I know they are both real demonstrators.
