In 1998 I waited 10 hours spread over two days on this spot to get this scene. The sun was gone by that time though... But the recorded sound was spectacular!

Wonderful shot and it's always nice to see and old Alco working. Is there any left?

It's all modern GE and EMD locomotives today, Oscar, though some of the Alco/MLW units survive on the Western New York & Pennsylvania Railroad.
