Wow! You've done it again, Roger. A color shot of a railroad that up until this time I had only seen in black and white. Again, thank you for posting this great shot of a railroad not seen enough.

Thanks for the photo. Just love to see new C&EI shots that I haven't seen. Sid, there are a lot more of these color photos than you might think. I have at lease 20 that I have never seen before but don't have the right to duplicate. Someday maybe I'll get the OK.

This shot is rare as hen's teeth! Notice all the matching equipment---much of it older heavyweight cars with "shadow line" paint to mimic the stainless steel on the newer L&N equipment. This could also be the Humming Bird. For a time, the Georgian and Chicago section of the "Bird" ran as separate trains (both southbound in the evening).
