A note: in France they count the axels instead of the weels. You can see on the board at the bottom right of the picture the mention: 232 (meaning the axals) Baltic

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this real life example ought to be worth ten times that amount! This is definitely a neat example of how a steam locomotive works. Thanks for sharing.
