Beautiful locomotive David and great photo of one of 6 of this type of locomotive in existence. The name "Mallard" fits as it looks somewhat like a duck squatting on a nest. I like the "drip pans" placed around it too, like little bread crumbs for the "Mallard" to eat. Early streamlining at it's best and nice "clear water" blue color.
