This engine has just been steamed for the first time in 41 years at the Bavarian Railway Museum, Nordlingen after 30 plus years exile in Switzerland. It is the only DB 01 fitted with a new high performance boiler in 1960 to have been steamed since the end of steam at Hof in 1973.

Superb to see this loco in action again, via the Youtube. Have enjoyed many runs with it back in the 1970's in the Hof area. Long may she continue.
