Is it just something about lens and view angle or does bottom of pilot and steps seem to be pushed in a bit off vertical compared to vertical below it on bridge framing?

Looking at a few other photos from the day it does appear that the steps are bent in a slight bit. I'll have to take a closer look next time I see 3863 in person.
