When you really WISH the one time you see someone trip and fall is at a moment like this, either that or there is a police officer waiting in traffic in the direction they're running! Kyle, we have some strange timing settings on crossing gates in downtown Russellville. The latest tweak on Arkansas Av - our main N-S drag - has northbounds triggering the two crossings beyond Arkansas before they trigger Arkansas. At Detroit Av, gates are down well before UP trains hit the crossing, but on the D&R connection, the trains are literally at the edge of pavement as the gates go down. It's a little unnerving when D&R is shoving, which is several times a week.

I submitted a second shot made moments after this one that showed the second runner passing in front of 1143. You can tell by comparing the two shots that the train has moved significantly closer to the street. I thought running the two shots sequentially would have been kinda cool, but RP screeners may have felt the two shots were too similar. Understandable.
