Nice color! And looks like that signal is displaying the "lunar" aspect don't see that very often.

Thank you! The color variety on this train is why Q114 is among my favorites to shoot. And that is indeed the lunar! You see that quite often actually here at VO, because trains run west out of Selkirk are sometimes run very close together.

That's why i'm such a big fan of intermodal it's always a very colorful train and more interesting to look at in my opinion.The only time i've seen a lunar signal was at N.Collier yard near Petersburg Virginia on the old ACL main line it was for the southbound trains heading into the yard off of the main line. I have a dvd called "CSX on the Chicago line" it was filmed right after the CSX NS takeover of conrail it has footage shot right where you took this picture I believe, I recognize the little jog in the track where the two main tracks come back close together.
