Looks like the homebuilt ex-Southern Railway signal bridge in the background is on short time. Its replacement is already erected close-by. Those signal bridges were constructed in Southern's old Roadway Shop in Charlotte, NC, using center-frame beams from old boxcars.

Indeed! It is a sad thing to see those bridges go. I say if it's not broken, don't fix it.
