I mighy be wrong, but I believe the right of way to the right is Southern Railway. L&N is beyond that. I think it's Southern's line to Alcoa and Maryville, Tn. Southern and Smoky Mountain shared the same bridge across the Tennessee River at Knoxville. I recall climbing up on this engine when it was dead as a teenager at this location.
