Where "74 Volts" is stenciled on anticlimber, what is it that is 74 volts, the ditch light, the m.u. cable, something else?

The head/ditch and marker lamps on locomotives are all 74 volts.

FSWood, the "74 Volts" stencil looks to be for the ditch lights. As far as I know, most ditch light are 74 volts, where headlights are 32 volts (in my personal experience).

Ah, appreciate it. How many different voltages are in play on a locomotive? The traction motors used to generally be around 600, I think: haven't been following train technology close enough to know if that is same or different these days.
