I found out why this train departed late - me. Because of the location, I parked over a block away. Being -7 degrees (not including windchill), I made a few trips back and forth to scan and get warm. Well, a local resident called 9-1-1 for a suspicious person. From behind, four police cars arrived as I peered down the tracks. After an explanation why my camera was under my coat the Z-train was cleared to leave. As an officer was running my ID, the train finally neared. Assured that I wasn't interested in suicide, he suggested I get some snapshots.

Haha. Great story, Aaron, and your a brave man to be out there in -7 degree weather. Why did the cops even bother I thought they only work on nice days? Any of them have a camera to join you?
