Wow, blast from the past. I wonder if that is the huge train shed on the Saint Louis Union Station on the upper right corner.

If that Alco PA-like, nose door headlight looks odd to you, it's because this unit was bought second-hand from the B&M, where it was that road's only E8, the 3821. That feature distinguishes this unit from otherwise identical-looking T&P E8 units, which also lacked the stainless-steel Eagle nose trim, because that decoration had been painted on the subsidiary's power, while those of the MP proper, were the bolted-on, sheet metal.
