Americas passenger terminals used to be places of pride and esteem in the heyday of rail. How far the mighty had fallen by the time of this photo. This photo has a nice flavor to it.

Good grief, I had no idea the condition of that station was so deplorable. How sad.
Its 1985 rehabilitation was a wonderful thing, though. And, even though the shopping mall has fallen on hard times, the plans the new buyer has for the place are very encouraging!

The Amtrak phase 1 paint scheme is a classic. It's always good to hear about future plans for the terminals other than demolition.
