This is the type of photo you keep coming back to look at and smile. Well done.

Named after W.H. Wells, chief engineer of the project. Sometimes called North Broad Trestle. Spans north fork of Broad River just west of Toccoa, GA. Construction began 1915, completed 1919. Part of a larger Southern Railways project to reduce curves and grades along the Atlanta – Charlotte mainline. Over 1500 feet in length, and just over 200 feet in height at its highest point. Highest bridge on the Norfolk-Southern RR between Washington DC and New Orleans. Used often as a visual landmark for military aircraft on various low-level military training routes (MTRs) in the area.

Great perspective of the Toccoa trestle. Thanks for shearing, Casey! Neat move, too.
