It always seams that the heritage units are the first engine; why is that?

Actually, the NS (PC) 1073 is the trailing unit in this consist, as it's headlight is dimmed, and the ditch lights are off. These units are moving away from the camera around the curve to the left!

I didn't know but in a lot of other pictures have heritage units are the first in the train.

Best Penn Central Heritage Unit Picture IMO, super reminiscent of a photo from the 1970's. Great Shot, Great railroad for doing the work they have to preserve these things.
