He's laying sand after the crew change. The hind end crew just stepped on the waycar and now he's got em in Notch 8 making a run for Edelstein Hill...not that the hill will have much effect on this train. When I was a kid in Coal City my mom would call down to the depot to see where 99 was because then she'd have a good idea when I would be home for lunch...about 20 minutes after 99 went through!
