Great shot Charlie. Did you get to Wellington on that trip? There was extremely rare opportunity to get trains in snow around our capital city. Normally, only the central section of the North Island Main Trunk sees snow like this in the North Island. Folks, there is a whole feature in MotivePower Nov/Dec 2011 issue featuring photos from some of Australia's finest. It would be nice to see more of these beautiful photos on RP (especially your photo on top p. 42.)
