Nice shot.

Great image at a great spot. I know I should not feel so strongly about things like locomotives, railroad companies, fixed plant... but the changes along the old TP&W (and the rest of Illinois and pretty much all of U.S. railroading) in the years since you made this photo just about make me cry.

What a great little railroad the latter day TP&W was. Nice paint, nice employees and just an all around neat atmosphere. I didn't know you were there that day...I was out of town on company business and couldn't get to the event. You guys really killed it.

I worked on the TP&W for 13 years. The Staggers act killed us. Went to work for the BN. Wasn't the same. That could have been me on the 600 as I went to Morton many times when I was working the day shift. Those were the best days of my railroad career.

Mike, it's always nice to see photos of Fallen Flag RR's.
