I've been told by someone who loves railroading and who's father was a Conductor on the ATSF, that clean locomotives don't make them any more money. I still enjoy seeing clean units in a consist, just makes them look more classy, but have learned to appreciate the dirt on them. Thank you for sharing your historical picture with us Chris.
