I guess that the Clinchfield was taking Southern Pacific lessons, huh? Wow! Now that's pretty nasty, but what a testimony to the tough work and the amount of tunnels on the line. Thanks for sharing, Kyle!

That's what a trailing unit looked like after a few round trips through all the Clinchfield's tunnels! Management's opinion was that they pulled the same tonnage, dirty or clean.

Hopefully the engineers remove the dust while climbing into the cab, otherwise we couldn't guess the original colors of this engine!
