That is a Takraf bucket chain excavator! Amazing that its sheer size makes the locomotive look small.

please note that the track is not ballasted and is only temporary. The machine is an antiquated form of strip mining machinery. One thing unique about this machine is that it has two operator's cabins. Please note that this machine carries a large crane on top of it's machinery house. This crane can rotate to either side and is used to remove and replace heavy machinery during repair work in the machinery house.
