Come on, Guys. Let's have lot more info. Obviously it is grinding the rails, but why, on straight track? Next, what is in the two tank cars and then, what are the cars just in front of the tank cars. The guy on the right on the platform sure looks interested in the proceedings, I think he is wondering what he is getting for his tea to-night "I hope it is not gopher again"

I did not take the photo, but I can tell you a little about what's in it. Even straight rails some times get wear spots on them and need to be ground down. The two tank cars are probably carrying extra fuel for the grinders or extra water for puttiing out fires started by the grinders. The two units in front of the tank cars are the actual grinders themselves. As for the two guys on the caboose, sorry, I'm not a photo mind reader so I can't help you with that.
