I hope this doesn't sound callous (especially if, as I also hope, there were no injuries or fatalities) but...it's always fascinating from this era when amidst a railroad derailment site you can still see a guy with a Bing Crosby hat, as appears to be the case at the photograph's lower right. It would be all hard hats today, understandably.

Kurt...a lot of folks viewing this photo will be asking, "What's a Bing Crosby hat?". I'm old enough to know the answer and can recall lots of SD45's on the rails.

I too am old enough to remember Bing's famous hats and those beautiful SD45's. That is a great shot of a terrible railroad moment. Hopefully no one was injured. Great shot Kyle.
