Compare the height of the nose wings between the two units. The nose wing on the lead unit seems a bit too high.

I always found it fascinating that SP loved to adorn their locomotives will kinds of extra "things," and yet when it came time to spec the horns, they spec'd the least-expensive horns available - Nathan P3s. Such an options-laden locomotive surely deserves a Leslie RS5T or a Nathan K5LA!
