I thought they were going to keep the big American flag on the side?! That looked much better. And nothing will beat the AEM-7 but I'm sure that's what people said when they arrived to take over the GG1 that nothing would beat them. These too will grow on us!

You are right Chad. 30 years ago most fans thought the AEM-7 "Swedish Meat Ball" a poor substitute for the the mighty GG-1. In 20-30 years when this one goes there will be mourning.

I personally enjoy the look of them. Speaking as someone with German descent, these already look familiar to me. This design is very successful in Europe, & I'm glad to see it moving overseas to our neighbours south of the border. You made a good choice with these, America, hope they work out well for you!!
