Here's an interesting fact. During the peak of the flood a few weeks ago, the water level came more than have way up the ridge seen here. As a result, there was a sink hole along some of this siding. The siding could not be used as a passing siding for a while and the track speed was reduced as well.

There are a bunch of Ballast piles in Edworthy Park a little bit east of this, I believe they may be filling in the sinkholes at milepost 6. I've noticed trains going at much slowed speed than usual through Edworthy the past few weeks or so.

This siding no longer exists.
