They may not outlast EMD's 40 series, but they seem to be doing better than the Universal Series.

Ummm...They've already outlasted SD70MACs, SD75Ms and GP60s. No end in sight for the CSX Dash 8 fleet. They've even acquired second hand B40-8s. Nothing beats a SD40 though. Bullet proof.
