Great photo!!! I miss my solid EMD standard cab lash ups! Hahaha great picture, this is where i spend all my time waiting for trains on the Pan Am... Unfortunately i didn't get out early enough Yesterday only got EDRJ that got outlawed in North Adams, and 22K.

Thanks very much Colin! Yeah, I miss all the EMD lashups that this line used to feature as well, but the scenery still makes this railroad well worth visiting! It can be a pain getting up early, but a great deal of my success between North Petersburgh and East Deerfield has been in the early morning hours.

Oh alright, i'll have to keep that in mind. The Pan Am is one of the most frustrating railroads to photograph, there are absolutely gorgeous locations like this one here and the possibility of seeing awesome locomotives considered artifacts by todays standards. But the thing is you may have to wait 6 hours for a single train to come that gets outlawed in the next possible siding, which has happened to me many times. It's very confusing, but i keep coming back!! Hopefully soon the stars will align for me and i'll get my three SD40-2's back on RJED like i was used to!!
