Is there anyone left, who enjoys being a rail fan, who does not recognize just the paint scheme alone? My first train set was a Lionel Santa Fe passenger set. When I was five, I thought that Santa Fe was the only rail line that carried passengers. Little did I know of Amtrak until I was about twelve years of age. Growing up in the Southeastern US and working for NS, I still love the old Santa Fe War Bonnet and I still get a thrill, while working to see the older Santa Fe Locos on the road and the BNSF are always so friendly and always have time to talk to us.
