Sad to see them withdrawn, but also sad to see car 100 covered in grafitti, whenI visited Buenos Aires in 2010 I photographed this same car but with no grafitti

90 years, wow. That's an admirable length of service. I wonder why they are being retired now though?

Currently (and unfortunately) the problem of graffiti is something that seems out of control John, on the subway and many railway formations. These cars were replaced by new Chinese cars manufactured by CITIC/Alstom to modernize the line, some of the historical cars think (and i wish) that will be preserved, the others would not know what fate will have.
