The railroad is 7,817 feet long, in a loop that connects three stations: Main Street, Frontierland, and Fantasyland. Posted by TJ Mahan on May 1, 2013  Actually 2 tunnels, one through the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, and the other through Splash Mountain. FWIW, there is a pre-park opening behind the scenes tour (at an extra cost of course). Very informative, turns out Walt was a pretty serious rail buff!
