Trailer Train owns the flat car, or "deck", and UP owns the rack. Why this is done, I don't know. It's a situation that's unique to auto racks.

From a guy that loads them: These things are terrible to load! Very awkward, time consuming and not frozen weather friendly. Nice and shiny on the outside, not so much on the inside.
