This is a neat picture. In this era the E units pictured were on borrowed time in Florida service to Miami and St. Petersburg. The SDP40Fs pictured elephant style (nose to rear) were also in Florida service. The single SDP was likely the James Whitcomb Riley power. The Southern was their own operation until 1979 so her E8As were to take the Crescent south.
