The G B & W, another road that painted the two windows above the hood, as did the L & N. Many crews objected to the extra heat and light that those windows caused when traveling east or west in to the sun. The C & O which also had many lines that ran east and west, installed large shop made "Sun Visors" on many of it's early EMD switchers, the ones with the arched windows in the center.
