Instead of a former EL SDP45, could it be simply an SP SDP45 that was rebuilt with a pointed rear end?

According to my research, the former SP SDP45s have all been scrapped and SP 8691 is ex-EL 3654. Looks like SP had six of them (8691-8696), all ex-EL.
