That's a former Indiana Railroad RPO-coach, a real rarity. It served in South Shore line car service for far longer than it served in revenue service on IRR and its predecessors.

Looks for all the world like the Jewett combines I rode back in the 40's on the Des Moines & Central Iowa. They were supposed to have come to Iowa from the Lake Shore Electric.
