Are you sure that's a UP SD40 (2857)? I'm no expert, but that kind of looks like a GE to me. Very interesting shot.

You are correct, that is a U30C.

The SD-40 is coupled to the WP 3051 on the left side of the photograph, and is on the track behind the UP 2857. You can see a little of the back end of the SD-40, number 303(?).
