Great shot, James! That, of course, was back before downtown SLC was entirely messed up in pursuit of the almighty $$$. Yep, ya need more condos and shopping centers and fewer rail depots! Too bad you couldn't photoshop some butterfly train sheds in this shot. . .

At least they kept the UP and the Rio Grande depots, instead of demoing them to make room for more garbage.

I bet 3985 would look great in gray-hound two-tone gray with white stripes!

Challanger 3977 in Council Bluffs is painted in two tone gray and has smoke deflecters, and I think it looks really good.
