Frost highlights the mass of wires used to control signals, switches, etc. Copper wire theives would have had a field day back then. I count 36 wires, but it's difficult to count since some hide behind others. So I counted the insulators. In other words, I spent way too much time trying to figure out how many wires. I enjoyed it. Reminds me of railroading when I was a younger man. Beautiful frosty photo.

Even more impressive, each thick cable you can see is a bundle of dozens of smaller wires.

Spectacular. I am enjoying those F7 burners and "dummies". Makes me want to break out my old Lionel set. Old time railroading during diesels first decades and an absolutely beautiful New Mexico sunny sky to highlight the frost. I love when history and sentiment can mingle in a fine photo.
