Ran under its own power?

I assume the locomotive is being placed on the tracks, but where was it in the first place? ..maybe a stationary exhibit close by? Anyway, I’m impressed by the hydraulic crane. The Germans are good for some great crane designs. The KRC 1200 appears to be the largest of the four rail crane models that Kirow makes.

Fun shot, that is some impressive rail equipment.

There are no plans, that 14270 will run under its own power again (three other former SBB crocodiles are operational). It was standing for decades on the short piece of tracks in the background, which has not snow on it.

This is a magnificent sight to behold. I've seen a rail-crane action a couple of times, but nothing so impressive. Hope that the Crocodile will be restored to it's former glory!
